Data Protection Statement
Effective Date: June 16, 2026
Nelami Groupe is committed to protecting the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our clients' data. As a consulting and integration partner in cybersecurity, cloud, and networking infrastructure, we operate under rigorous security guidelines.
1. Security-First Philosophy
We believe that data security is not an add-on but a foundational requirement. Whether designing network VLAN segmentations, deploying hardware firewalls, setting up cloud databases, or configuring CCTV systems, we implement zero-trust methodologies and industry best practices.
2. Client Data Confidentiality
All information obtained from clients during audits, consultancy, or ongoing management contracts is treated as strictly confidential:
- Access to client network configurations, architecture maps, and credentials is restricted to authorized personnel actively assigned to the project.
- We do not share, reference, or publish details of client infrastructures without explicit written authorization.
- Client configurations and blueprints are stored in encrypted, access-controlled repositories.
3. Compliance and Security Standards
We align our internal operations and client deployments with globally recognized compliance and security frameworks, including:
- Zero-Trust Network Access (ZTNA) frameworks.
- GDPR and local data protection regulations in Rwanda, Kenya, and the wider East African and Gulf regions.
- ISO/IEC 27001 recommendations for information security management.
4. Project-Specific Agreements
We recognize that different organizations have unique security policies and compliance mandates. The exact terms of data access, retention, auditing, and protection are customized and legally defined in our project-specific contracts, Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs), and Master Service Agreements (MSAs) agreed per client.
